Russians started bombing Gori at 8th of August 2008. I was at home with my husband and 2 chlildren , 9 and 11, in Kombinati settlement. It was very dangerus to stay there so we had to send childen to Ateni, to my in-laws. I stayed home as was waiting to my parents from Prone gorge, village Nuli. They arrived at 9 oclock in the evening. Througout this period the shells have been continously dropped in Gori and around. We spent the whole night awake at home with childen. Next day , around 10 or 11 AM it was decided to settle the refugees from Nuli, (where my mother is originally from) to the public School No 7, where our reservists were located as well. By that time the dorm behind the public school was blown out and residents including children were under the ruins. People in school including refugees and reservists have were damaged. The locals gave shelter to the reservists. They were hidden in to the basements of their houses, as their presence in the area was the main reason for bombing.
August the 10th . Russians bombed Gori tank unit. About 5 units were destroyed. There were a lot of dead and casualties both from civilians and our army. Under these sircumstances we had to leave Gori and came to Tbilisi the same day. I support the petition on crime to be sent to European Court of Human Rights.I undersign that the information I have provided is correct.
