The shootings started on August 7th and on the 8th the village of Tkviavi was bombed. The war planes came. On August 11th and 12th close friends of the family died. The first shell was dropped 200 meters from the house and after that the bombing of entire village started. Between approximately 10 and 11 o'clock there was a first bombing in neighbor's yard and as a result the house and the yard was destroyed. Luckily there were no casualties during this bombing. As we did not expect the situation to escalate so much – I stayed in the village Tkviavi. My family went to village Kitsnisi, where the bombing also started on the second day. My uncle and grandfather are lost and we still cannot reach them. I learned from the trustworthy sources that my father's uncle was executed through beheading. I also learned that many of my close acquaintances/friends are killed and houses looted. Some houses are burnt. The part of the population is still in the village of Tkviavi, hiding in gardens. On August 9th I rejoined my family in Kitsnisi and after few hours we left for Tbilisi. There were no obstacles on the road, except the small hindrance at the gas stations.
The information is true and I hereby sign.
