We were forced to leave our house. They burnt the house and banished us on August 7. They robbed us - took money, car, robbed our shop. We could hardly reach the basement after the bombing started. We had to stay there for three days and three nights without any food.
My father Givi Djavaxishvili (war veteran) was wounded. He is in Gudushauri clinic now, his health condition is critical. He was the only supporter of our family, which has three children.

First, Osetians attacked Avnevi and Luvri. They killed people and destroyed villages, later our army came over and started shooting them back, and the battle started, what else could our troops do in this case? I don't remember the exact date; I think it was 6th or 7th of August.
I was watching from my balcony, I saw the airplane bombing the village. Several houses were destroyed above my brother's house; six people were killed instantly in that area…
My villagers are all my friends and relatives.
Later our people started shooting back and the battle started… that's all I can say…
Later Russian airplanes flew in and bombed us and chased us. Now they came down to Gori.
Only old people stayed in the village but who knows if they are still alive.
My neighbors stayed there; Ksenia Maisuradze is there, Nodar Beruashvili is still there; my brother-in-law, 32-33 years old Mishiko Taboshvili is missing as well…

I lived in the village Avnevi, Kareli district. As a result of bombings and shooting we left the village on August 8th and went to Gori. There was bombing in Gori as well so we left it.
We did not manage to take anything with us. Intense shootings and shelling by the Ossetian army continued for several days. On 08.08.2008 Georgian army entered the village, than there was bombing again and we left the village. As a result of shelling three peaceful civilians were wounded. These are Kazakhashvili Roman, Kikoev Shota and Kazakhashvili Vazha.
Two soldiers died – 7/VIII/2008
I have recorded in the phone the sound of shootings. I have left nobody on the occupied territory.
