They were under Influence of Alcohol or Drugs-robbed houses and then burnt everything.
I and wife of my brother-in-law were hiding in the kindergartens for 2 days, and then we walked 40 km. when we came to the family of Datviashvili Tamila, Ossetians saw us, ran to the house and started to fire. They stormed into the house and started to search for us. They threatened Tamila Datviashvili's mother with a gun to find out where we were. We managed to run away and walked to Akhalsopeli in the midnight. We headed to Tbilisi from Akhalsopeli with out spouses. I don't know where my children are as they went from the village a day earlier.

When the aerial attacks began, we were frightened. I had a spouse, children and pregnant daughter in law at home. We did not sleep one night because of fear - at night the bombings started, by the morning we took our children out, We - me and my spouse stayed. I could not leave the house alone - we have two cows, hens and chicken, harvest in the village. But in August 8, ossetians and Russians came to our village and we had to leave. According to my neighbor, which was hiding in the basement and was taking care of my house for four days - Ossetian separatists, Russian soldiers, including Cossacks took over my house. They started to rob, they burned newly renovated school of Karaleti situated near us, ambulatory and neighbor's house. I do not know anything about my house, because the neighbor got lost and I do not have information about her. Her name is Nino Chalidze. I do not have any family members left in the occupied territory, but I also do not have any property left either…

On August 11 I heard shooting and went outside. Alexandre Bibilashvili, Vasiko Z. and Niko Z.were standing on the street of Karaleti. The vehicle passed with Ossetian soldiers. The soldiers opened fire and Alexandre Bibilashvili was killed.
On August 10 I was hiding in my backyard together with my neighbor, V. T.. Meanwhile Ossetian soldiers (in military forms) robbed the house of my neighbor – Guram Kharibegashvili and stole his car. Then I moved to the cellar of another neighbor - Amiran B.. Amiran himself and his wife were there. Ossetian soldiers entered the cellar and were threatening us. Amiran's wife is Ossetian. She saved our lives. They would kill us if Amiran's wife was not there. We reached Tbilisi by hitchhiking.
