I headed to Tbilisi to my sister-in-law as my village was heavily and wholly shelled. One of the shells immediately killed 8 persons. Our houses are demolished. We left everything. I did not manage to take anything. We left in what we were wearing at the moment – muddy slippers and home clothes. My husband had a motorbike. We reached village of Tkviavi on it. We took my 81 years old, blind mother-in-law by this motorbike. Only walls are left from our house, there is nothing inside any more…

Now we were informed that our village is being destroyed, the houses are robbed and burnt. My brother-in-law has stayed there. He is hiding in the garden. He hopes to save something. People cannot stay in the villages. Previously they used to find shelter in basements, but now people are burnt alive in those basements. We saw ourselves dead people lying in the streets in our side of the village. It was not possible to burry them properly. They were wrapped in cellophane, the ground was dug and they were buried like that. People, no one believes in this! I don't know anything, had I seen it in the dream, I would have gone mad! But it all happened in front of us. Village of Karbi is destroyed. Let them go and see the situation there by themselves!
